The new product is called Young Activity Van III (abbreviated as YAV III) and is a full-fledged camper van built on the platform of the Dacia Logan station wagon. Externally, the front part of the car completely replicates the standard Logan, but the rear area is transformed into a compact living space. It features a pop-up roof structure that can accommodate two adults, as well as two additional sleeping places in the lower part, and various storage compartments. In addition, the car is equipped with a small kitchen for cooking.

From a technical standpoint, this Logan is nothing remarkable — under the hood is a regular 1.6-liter petrol engine. However, the main point here is not the technical content. The key idea is to create an affordable camper van, and it must be admitted that the result is quite decent. Especially considering that the cost of such a vehicle will be two to three times lower than that of traditional motorhomes. The estimated price of the YAV III on the European market is 15,000 euros (about 21,400 dollars), and sales may start as early as mid-next year.
