Recently, the American tuning studio Switzer has taken an interest in the Japanese supercar Nissan GT-R. The digital designations of the P700 and P800 packages indicate the estimated horsepower. However, this is just the beginning. Such Nissans from Switzer are considered everyday cars. For those who want more thrills, the Americans have introduced a new tuning kit with the letter R and an impressive index of 850.
The method to achieve the goal is simple: engine chip tuning, supercharging system upgrade, and proprietary Monster intercoolers. Additionally, racing fuel from VP Racing is used. On the dyno, the car showed 740 horsepower and 970 Nm of torque. However, specialists from Tim Switzer's team claim that if you account for drivetrain losses of 15%, the real figures for the Nissan GT-R could reach 850 horses and 1112 Nm.
The price of the R850 package is $20,990. The first buyer of this kit was a Nissan GT-R owner from Russia.
