Lynk & Co has unveiled its new flagship crossover 900 — a three-row hybrid whose exterior openly echoes the Range Rover. The car is built on the fresh SPA Evo platform, which has made it possible to implement many interesting technical solutions. The front bumper hides aerodynamic shutters, and the chassis features all-wheel steering — the rear wheels can turn up to 20 degrees. Additionally, a "crab" mode is provided, when the car moves diagonally, which significantly simplifies parking and maneuvering in tight spaces, especially for such a large SUV.

The interior of the new model is also impressive: it features a panoramic display with 6K resolution, a Harman/Kardon audio system with speakers built into the headrests, a refrigerator, and electric seat adjustments even for third-row passengers. Thanks to such equipment, the model can confidently claim a place in the premium class.

The lineup includes several versions. The base version uses a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and a pair of electric motors, which together develop 711 horsepower and allow up to 220 km on electric power alone. The mid-range modification gets a two-liter turbocharged engine and more powerful electric motors — together they produce 724 hp, and the 52.38 kWh battery provides up to 280 km in pure electric mode. The top variant has three electric motors and a two-liter internal combustion engine: the total output reaches 872 hp, acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 3.4 seconds, and the range reaches 1443 km.

The starting price for the Lynk & Co 900 is 289,900 yuan, which equals approximately $39,780. However, the most expensive trims can cost up to 416,900 yuan, i.e., about $57,200.

The manufacturer directly targets this crossover against flagship hybrids of competitors — such as Aito M9, Li Auto L9, and Denza N9. However, the most interesting thing here is different: the model is a vivid example of what the symbiosis of Chinese engineering and the Scandinavian approach to construction can achieve.
