For now, we only have a concept, so the manufacturer keeps technical details under wraps. However, the company has showcased an original design by the renowned Jozef Kaban — a designer who has previously collaborated with Audi, Skoda, Bugatti, BMW, Rolls-Royce, and Volkswagen. He is the one who once created the look of the Bugatti Veyron. In the CyberX project, he drew inspiration from the legendary Ferrari Testarossa, adding pop-up headlights to the model.
The crossover features a restrained, almost geometric body with short overhangs, increased ground clearance, and a pronounced shoulder line. The rearview mirrors are finished in two colors, and LED strips run across the full width at the front and rear — a typical approach for modern electric vehicles. The concept is 4.3 meters long, placing it in the same league as the VW ID.4 or Volvo EX30.
There is no official information yet about the interior or powertrain. However, according to rumors, the production version will be based on SAIC's E3 platform. This architecture is designed specifically for electric models and incorporates Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology, where the battery is integrated directly into the body frame, enhancing rigidity and overall efficiency. It is also known that MG is developing the digital component for the CyberX in collaboration with Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo.
The model is planned to be presented not only in China but also in European and Australian markets. The production version is expected to appear quite soon, according to preliminary data.
