In Germany, they showed a seriously modified Duster that is ready for extreme off-road conditions.

The main difference is a significant increase in ground clearance. The suspension was reinforced with Koni Heavy Track shock absorbers, adding 40 mm of clearance. If you also add off-road tires 245/70 R16 or 245/65 R17, you can get another 20–30 mm. That is, this Duster literally grows.

The protection of the units was also carefully worked out. Under the engine, a 6 mm thick aluminum sheet is installed, and the fuel tank and wiring are protected separately. Such refinement is not for the sake of appearance, but for work where asphalt is found only in stories.

duster2025.jpgOn the roof, a large expedition rack is placed, capable of withstanding anything — from water canisters to a full-fledged winch with a pulling force of up to two tons. And most importantly, all these elements can be purchased separately and gradually turn your own Duster into a real off-road vehicle.

True, such pleasure is not cheap. For example, shock absorbers will cost 933 euros, underbody and tank protection — 1305 euros, and a roof rack — 1600 euros. If you want to get everything at once and even with a reserve, you will have to pay almost 45,000 euros. And that, to put it mildly, is a lot…
