As you can see, the 2022 Toyota Tundra will get an angular body, a characteristic grille with chrome trim that takes up almost the entire front area, as well as distinctive stampings on the fenders. Inside, the “vertical” dashboard with a large screen in the center and a center console complemented by a huge niche for “small items” draws attention.

It is known that technically the new Toyota Tundra is largely unified with the new Land Cruiser 300, it is built on the same TNGA-F platform (ladder frame), and under the hood will be a similar 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 (in the case of the “three hundred”, it produces 415 hp and 650 Nm).

However, this engine will most likely go not to the base pickup, but to the “hardcore” Tundra TRD Pro. This version of the Tundra will be the first, and it can be distinguished, as expected, by black accents (front grille (it will also have a different pattern – honeycomb instead of slats), sill trim, fender protection), additional LED optics and different wheels. Also, the TRD modification will get a retuned suspension.

According to preliminary information, the new pickup will go on sale in the fourth quarter of this year. The main market for the car will traditionally remain America, but in Ukraine the new product can also be bought – at least from “unofficial dealers”. It is predicted that in the US, the 2022 Toyota Tundra can be purchased for about $36,000 (the TRD Pro version should be priced at just over $50,000).
