The new Mercedes EQG can be distinguished from the petrol or diesel G-Class primarily by its modified front end. Instead of a radiator grille, it has a plug with an LED pattern, and the round headlights have also been changed.

In addition, the sides and the spare wheel on the tailgate have received LED lighting. Additional lights have also appeared on the roof. Furthermore, the electric G-Class has received an aerodynamically improved front bumper and special 22-inch alloy wheels.

The specifications of the Mercedes EQG have not yet been disclosed. It is only known that it will be all-wheel drive, like the standard G-Wagon. And it will even retain a transfer case with a low-range gear. The concept car has four electric motors, but the production model will likely have two.

Earlier it became known that two versions of the electric vehicle will be available – EQG560 and EQG580. It can be assumed that the top version will be equipped with two motors with a total power of 523 hp, like the Mercedes EQS580 sedan.
