First, the new Renault Megane 2022 has become an electric car, and second, it is now a hatchback-crossover. In terms of design, it is practically no different from last year's pre-production concept car. It has a high hood and rear door handles hidden in the pillars. However, traditional features such as thin LED daytime running lights are also preserved.

Inside, there is a virtual instrument cluster and a large portrait-format touchscreen. The two-level central console also draws attention.

It is known that the Renault Megane E-TECH electric car will be equipped with a 215-horsepower motor on the front axle. Battery packs with capacities of 40 and 60 kWh will be offered: in the latter case, the range is 470 km according to the WLTP cycle. It is possible that a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version will appear later.

By the way, this is not the only electric car from Renault at the Munich auto show. A special vehicle for taxis will also be presented there.
