In any case, this feature is present in the model on the Chinese market (so far, sales of the third-generation crossover have only started there). Thus, as local media report, for the Nissan X-Trail 2022, local dealers, converted from yuan, ask from $28,150 to $40,690 (depending on the trim level). At the same time, the car of the previous, second generation, which is still on sale, costs more – from $29,220 to $42,300.
It is worth noting that the new Nissan X-Trail 2022 debuted in April this year, while its American counterpart under the traditional name Rogue – in the summer of 2020. In the new generation, the popular crossover received, in particular, a new exterior with a characteristic V-shaped front end design and interior. At the same time, the X-Trail differs from the Rogue insignificantly: for example, they have slightly different bumpers and multimedia screens (the X-Trail has a 12.3-inch one, the Rogue – a 9-inch one).
In terms of dimensions, the X-Trail 2022 has become larger than its predecessor: length increased to 4,681 mm (+41 mm), width – to 1,840 mm (+20 mm), height – to 1,730 mm (+20 mm). The wheelbase remained unchanged – 2,706 mm. In addition, the ground clearance has also increased – to 212 mm (+4 mm). The new Rogue has similar specifications.
Under the hood of the X-Trail in China, a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with 204 hp is installed, while the American Rogue is equipped with a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine with 180 hp. Both engines work in conjunction with a CVT, drive – front or all-wheel. The European version of the crossover should appear later (in the summer of 2022).
