It is not hard to guess that the Smart crossover will become the largest model in the brand's history. Its length will exceed 4 meters. Judging by the photos, the car's design will be muscular and expressive.
Like all modern Smarts, the crossover will be exclusively electric, as the German brand abandoned gasoline and diesel engines back in 2019.
The new Smart will be built on the SEA architecture, developed jointly with Geely (the Chinese concern, along with Daimler, is a co-owner of Smart). It allows the installation of one, two, or even three motors. The range of models on the SEA platform can reach 690 km (according to the NEDC cycle), although, of course, for the compact Smart it will be less – about 320 km.
