Enovate ME5 is a mid-size SUV. The car is 4580 mm long, 1915 mm wide, and 1635 mm high. The wheelbase is 2750 mm. In terms of size, it fits between the Kia Sportage QL (fourth generation) and the Toyota RAV4 V.
The Enovate ME5 is powered by an electric motor with an output of 150 kW/204 hp, powered by a 30.6 kWh lithium-ion battery. The range is a modest 155 km, but the car is additionally equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that acts as an electricity generator. With it, the range increases to 1012 km (a 6.6-fold increase in range).
The top speed is 160 km/h.
The equipment of the new model includes, among other things, a facial recognition system (a kind of keyless access), a panoramic roof, a digital instrument cluster, a 14.8-inch central multimedia screen, and an audio system with eight speakers. Buyers will be offered a set of wheels ranging from 18 to 20 inches.
Prices for the Enovate ME5 in China start from 149,900 yuan ($23,000).
