The image shows a production model. Previously, it was only seen as a prototype.

Nio ET7 will essentially become the first electric car in the world whose range will surpass the psychological mark of 1,000 km. Such a range is promised for the top version, which will be equipped with a 150 kWh battery. For comparison, this is 50 kWh more than the closest competitor of the Chinese car – Tesla Model S.
In addition, the Nio ET7 will have versions with a 100-kWh battery (range – 700 km) and a 70 kWh unit (range – 500 km).
True, there is one trick in this whole story – the driving range is indicated according to the outdated NEDC cycle, which, however, is still adhered to in China.

But only one powertrain has been prepared for the Nio ET7 – it is two electric motors with a total output of 653 hp and 850 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 3.9 seconds.
Also, the Nio ET7 will get an advanced autopilot that relies on 33 sensor systems: an ultra-long-range lidar, eleven 8-megapixel high-resolution cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and twelve ultrasonic sensors. The system is capable of "seeing" other cars at a distance of up to 687 meters.
In terms of body type, the Nio ET7 is a classic liftback. The car has a low-slung aerodynamic appearance, with a drag coefficient of only 0.23.

Prices for the Nio ET7 became known back in May: in China, the base version will cost $69.2 thousand, the car in the middle trim – from $78.2 to 81.2 thousand. But the price for the "top" version has not yet been announced.
Deliveries of the new model will begin in the first quarter of 2022.
It should be noted that NIO is far from a newcomer to the market. This startup was founded in 2014, but has already managed to bring a number of electric cars (crossovers) to the market and even establish itself on the stock exchange. But most importantly, it has money (which cannot be said about other startups of this kind).
