The video captures a Toyota Camry, which became the victim of the incident, calmly moving along the highway, when suddenly an explosion occurs without any visible reason. Immediately after, the car is engulfed in flames, and after some time, another explosion is heard.
The incident does not end there: when the car has burned almost completely, leaving only a shell, a third, most powerful detonation occurs — so strong that the image on the recording noticeably shakes.
The driver, fortunately, managed to get out. According to foreign media reports, this was a gasoline Camry with a 2.0 or 2.4-liter engine, on which gas equipment was installed — presumably by a third-party company, since cars running on gas are not officially sold in China. It remains unclear which type of fuel was used: compressed natural gas or butane.
Apparently, the cause of such serious consequences was the incorrect installation of the LPG system.
