The new Mercedes EQT is an electric version of the upcoming T-Class. This model will replace the Mercedes Citan and will be available in two versions — cargo and passenger. The T-Class itself is positioned as a compact premium minivan.

Judging by the renders, the new Mercedes-Benz EQT is styled in the spirit of other electric cars of the EQ series. Instead of the usual radiator grille, it has a plastic plug with LED lighting, and the headlights have become narrower.

Like the Citan, the Mercedes-Benz T-Class will be the German version of the Renault Kangoo. Therefore, the EQT is based on the electric Renault Kangoo Z.E. It is expected that the new model will get the same 109-horsepower engine and a 44 kWh battery, providing a range of about 250 km on the WLTP cycle.
