As reported by the French publication largus.fr, the car will change externally, internally, and in terms of equipment. Thus, the Dacia/Renault Duster 2022 will get new headlights and taillights with a Y-shaped LED profile – like the latest Logan and Sandero, as well as the Dacia Spring – Europe's cheapest electric car. In addition, the crossover will have its fog lights and radiator grille adjusted – the latter will become larger, with its appearance enhanced by a pronounced "V" shape extending down to the bumper.

Inside, the modernization will affect the multimedia screen – it will get a chrome aluminum frame. The infotainment system itself will receive new functions, as in the Sandero/Logan third generation.

Technically, the Duster will remain the same, except that it will get a new tandem of units – 1.3 TCe engines with 130 and 150 hp, working in tandem with the EDC preselective robot. Previously, such a transmission was paired with the Duster's 1.0 TCe engine.

Finally, another innovation will be the appearance of a 7-seat version of the Duster.
As for prices, they will remain approximately at the level of the current Duster. Thus, the car will remain one of the cheapest crossovers on the market.
