Let us remind you that we are talking about the top version of the model called KIA EV6 GT. Already at the time of its debut, which, by the way, took place last week, the car impressed with its characteristics: 585 hp of power, 740 Nm of torque, acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. By the way, this same car became the fastest Kia in the history of the brand.
And it was this car that clashed in battle with Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG GT, McLaren 570S, Porsche 911 Targa 4, and also Ferrari California T. All cars covered the classic drag distance of 402 meters (1/4 mile). What is the result? At first, the Kia pulled ahead, but the EV6 GT finished second – the victory went to the McLaren 570S. But the new "electric car" left behind the Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, and Mercedes-Benz.
By the way, on the market, Kia EV6 has already caused a stir: according to the specialized publication InsideEVs, in its native South Korea alone, in the first 24 hours, the manufacturer received more than 21,000 orders (online reservations) for the new product. By the way, this is close to its closest relative, which is built on the same platform – Hyundai Ioniq 5. This electric crossover was "snapped up" by Koreans in one day in the amount of 23,760 units.
