For comparison, buying a current-generation Renault Kangoo now costs 21,700 euros (base). So, as you can see, with the generational change, the popular "cab-over" van has become 3,200 euros more expensive. By the way, simultaneously with the price announcement, the French also showed the passenger version of the model – previously only the cargo variant had debuted.

However, the new Kangoo is a completely different vehicle; it has nothing in common with its predecessor. It has a completely different design and technical part. You can recognize the newcomer by its dynamic profile and front end, styled in the spirit of the brand's passenger cars. Even in the base version, the Kangoo is equipped with LED headlights.

Another feature of the new French van is as much as 49 liters of useful space for storing small items in the passenger compartment. The cargo volume varies from 775 to 3500 liters. There is both a standard version and one with an extended body. In the case of the passenger variant, there are 5- and 7-seat modifications.

At first, the engine range of the Renault Kangoo III will include only internal combustion engines: a three-cylinder 1.0 TCe with 100 horsepower, a 1.3-liter turbo TCe with 130 hp, and a 1.5 dCi diesel in three power options - 75, 95, and 115 hp. Later, a fully electric version will appear: with a 100-hp electric motor and a 44 kWh battery (the range of such a model is 265 km according to the WLTP cycle).

Orders for the new Kangoo Renault are already being accepted from today (April 1), and live sales of the new model will start in June.
