On the Chinese market, the new model will be named Chitu, while for foreign buyers it will be called Red Rabbit. Both variants translate the same way — "red rabbit." This was the name of the legendary commander Lü Bu's war horse.
It is worth noting that this is not the first unusual naming from Great Wall. The brand's lineup already includes the Haval Big Dog SUV and the Ora Good Cat electric hatchback. And the name Haval Chulian even translates as "first love."

The dimensions of the new Haval Red Rabbit are 4450 mm in length, 1841 mm in width, and 1618 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2700 mm. The exterior of the car is made in a dynamic style: a sloping roofline and slanted headlights give it a swift look.

The interior of the Haval Chitu is still kept secret, but the technical characteristics have already been revealed. Under the hood of the Chinese crossover will be 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engines producing 150 or 184 horsepower. Drive will be exclusively front-wheel.
Sales of the Haval Red Rabbit will start in spring. The price of the base trim will be about 12 thousand dollars.
