In the interior, a more advanced virtual instrument panel and the next generation of the MBUX multimedia system with an enlarged touchscreen are expected.

The new Mercedes C-Class is built on a more modern MLA platform borrowed from the flagship S-Class. However, unlike the flagship, the construction will use more steel than aluminum. The length will increase by about 60 mm, and the wheelbase by 25 mm.

For the Mercedes C-Class, turbocharged petrol and diesel engines with power ranging from 136 to 367 hp are likely to be offered, supplemented by small hybrid systems. A plug-in hybrid with an electric range of 100 km is also expected. Later, AMG versions are expected, and according to rumors, they will lose the V8.
