It is in India that the production of the Skoda Kushaq 2021 will be established, and the model is planned to be sold in the markets of developing countries. The price of the car will start from about 13 thousand dollars.
It is known that the car will be built on the MQB-A0 platform, like the Skoda Kamiq. The two crossovers have an identical wheelbase of 2651 mm, but the Kushaq will be more compact – about 4 meters in length.
The design of the crossover will be in the spirit of the Skoda Vision IN concept car. Although the test prototypes are camouflaged, it can be seen that compared to the pre-production version, the changes are small. It is known that the top version will get LED headlights, climate control, cruise control, rain and light sensors.
Like the Kamiq, the new Skoda Kushaq will be equipped with petrol turbo engines with a displacement of 1.0 liters (115 hp) and 1.5 liters (150 hp). A 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG robot with two clutches will be offered, and the drive will be exclusively front-wheel drive.
