The base Taycan costs from $79,900 in the US, which is almost half the price of the top model. For this amount, buyers can count on rear-wheel drive, one electric motor with 300 kW/408 hp (in Overboost mode and with Launch Control), and a battery with a capacity of 79.2 kWh (with a range of up to 431 km).

For those who find such characteristics insufficient, Porsche is ready to offer the same model, but with a battery of 93.4 kWh (484 km range) and a power plant of 350 kW/476 hp (in Overboost mode and with Launch Control). Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h for such a Taycan is 5.4 seconds, and the top speed is 230 km/h.

Despite being the "budget" version, it can also be ordered with fast charging – 80% of the battery capacity will be replenished in 22.5 minutes. Also, as it turned out, the single-motor rear-wheel-drive Taycan is more practical - its trunk volume is 491 liters (additional space was freed up due to the "extra" motor).

The car's equipment includes, among other things, LED headlights, 19-inch wheels (optionally 20 and 21 inches), black brake calipers, and a multimedia system with a 10.9-inch screen.

The new model will appear at dealers in spring.
