The Geely KX11 crossover was developed jointly with Volvo specialists and is based on an extended version of the CMA architecture, familiar from the Volvo XC40. The overall length of the new model is approximately 4.8 meters, and the wheelbase is 2.8 meters.
The exterior is styled in the manner of the Geely Preface sedan, which uses the same platform. From it, the crossover inherits a massive radiator grille and characteristic relief on the side panels. All lighting is exclusively LED.
The new model will be available in five- and seven-seat configurations. Inside, there are three screens at once: a digital instrument cluster, a multimedia system display, and a separate monitor in front of the passenger.
It is expected that under the hood of the KX11 will be a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 190 horsepower, paired with a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. The lineup will include versions with both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The appearance of a plug-in hybrid, which will receive a 1.5-liter turbo engine and an electric motor, is also not ruled out.
