The premiere of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer is scheduled for September 3. Serial production of the new model will begin in the second quarter of 2021. The Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator are considered the main rivals of this SUV.
The Grand Wagoneer's design features references to the classic model of the 80s. The interior promises to be truly luxurious: natural wood and aluminum will be used in the trim, and the equipment will include a 12-inch frameless display and a virtual instrument panel.
The engine lineup will include two engines: a 3.6-liter gasoline V6 and a 5.7-liter V8. They will work in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission. A hybrid modification with plug-in charging capability is also possible.
