The hybrid version of the Ghibli can be recognized by the modified radiator grille, as well as the blue accent on the body and brake calipers to match.

Under the hood of the new product is a two-liter turbocharged engine from Alfa Romeo, which works in tandem with a 48-volt starter-generator and a small lithium-ion battery. The gearbox is a modernized eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF.

The combined output of the hybrid sedan is 330 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 5.7 seconds, and the top speed is limited to 255 km/h.

Serial production of the Maserati Ghibli Hybrid is scheduled for September, and sales will begin closer to winter. Following this, hybrid modifications will also appear for the Quattroporte and Levante models.
