The facelift brought the sport sedan the same design changes as the regular restyled "Five". The main differences of the M version: enlarged air intakes and diffuser, as well as a sport exhaust system. The top Competition variant is entitled to a small spoiler and special interior trim.
In the interior of the updated BMW M5, a digital instrument cluster and a new media center screen with a diagonal of 12.3 inches appeared.
The model did not receive any changes in technology. Under the hood of the sedan, the same 600-horsepower biturbo 4.4 V8 remained, which in the Competition version produces 25 more horsepower.
