The exclusive Targa version will be produced in a limited run of 992 units, in honor of the index of the current 911 generation. This sports car features a special Cherry Metallic color, referencing the 1950s, and racing graphics with a number chosen by the client (from 0 to 90). You can also choose other body colors: Black, Guards Red, GT Silver Metallic, and a special light gray Crayon.

The interior features two-tone upholstery in velour and leather, as well as an impressive badge made of polished aluminum with the inscription 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition. The dashboard with an analog tachometer and two seven-inch displays is styled in the spirit of classic sports cars.

Technically, the Heritage Design Targa is no different from the regular one. The sports car is equipped with a three-liter turbo engine producing 450 horsepower, and offers a choice between a 7-speed manual and an 8-speed PDK automatic.

Specifically for owners of this collectible model, Porsche Design has developed a mechanical chronograph 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design Edition. The dial with a white second hand mimics the sports car's tachometer, and the strap is made of the same leather used for the interior trim.
The first examples of the Porsche 911 Targa 4S Heritage Design will appear in dealerships this autumn. Prices for the model have not yet been disclosed.
