Experts analyzed owner reviews of used cars in the US and based on this data compiled a list of the 10 most problematic cars whose engines failed to pass even 200 thousand km without repair.
The first place went to the Audi A4 model of 2009-2010. This is obviously about the two-liter TFSI turbo engine, which often needs a major overhaul already at 170-250 thousand kilometers.
The second position is the 2008 Ford F-350 pickup with a 6.4-liter diesel engine. Problems with this unit can occur at a mileage of only 104 thousand km.
The "top three" is closed by the 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser model, which requires a major overhaul already after 164-214 thousand km.
