The Porsche 911 Targa will be available exclusively with all-wheel drive. The standard version is equipped with a three-liter turbo engine producing 385 hp (15 hp more than its predecessor), while the Targa 4S variant is powered by a 450-horsepower engine.

Both Targas are fitted with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic, but for the 4S modification a seven-speed manual is also available. The top speed of the 911 Targa 4 is 289 km/h, while the 4S version reaches 304 km/h.

The base trim of the model includes adaptive PASM suspension, and an electronically controlled rear differential PTV (Porsche Torque Vectoring) is offered as an option. Additionally, the equipment list includes the proprietary Wet driver assistance system, which improves handling on wet surfaces.

The drag coefficient of the Porsche 911 Targa is 0.29. The folding roof can be retracted in 19 seconds, which is one second faster than its predecessor.
