The special interceptor version received a refined suspension with reduced ground clearance and new shock absorbers, as well as a braking system from Brembo with discs measuring 406 millimeters in diameter. In addition, this Tahoe stands out with special Firestone Firehawk Pursuit tires.
The police tow truck, built on the basis of the Tahoe, is capable of towing a trailer weighing up to 3.7 tons and confidently moving over rough terrain.
Both special versions of the Chevrolet Tahoe are equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 engine producing 360 horsepower, which works in conjunction with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The interceptor is available with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, while the tow truck is produced exclusively with all-wheel drive.
