The new generation Mokka will become 120 kg lighter, and the body rigidity will increase by 30%. The manufacturer also promises noticeably improved sound insulation. However, due to the transition to the CMP platform, the crossover will lose the all-wheel drive version.

The engine lineup will include a 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a 1.5-liter diesel, as well as an electric modification with 136 hp. The electric car will be able to travel up to 320 km on a single charge.
Production of the new generation Opel Mokka will start in the autumn of this year, and sales will begin in early 2021.
