The German automaker has already shared the first teaser of the updated Mokka, but the crossover's body is still reliably covered with camouflage film. The model will lose the X prefix in its name, and the new product will be based on the French EMP1 platform, familiar from the Peugeot 2008 and DS3 Crossback.
As for the electric version, exact specifications are still kept secret. It is expected that the Mokka will be able to use a 136-horsepower electric motor, which is already used in the DS3 Crossback E-Tense, and the range will be approximately 300 kilometers.
The premiere of the electric Opel Mokka is expected in the very near future, but sales are scheduled to start only next year.
