First of all, the model's handling was improved. The updated LC shed 10 extra kg thanks to aluminum lower suspension arms, hollow stabilizers of increased diameter, high-strength springs, and lightweight 21-inch rear wheels. In addition, suspension stiffness was optimized.

For better cornering, the Active Cornering Assist system was recalibrated. This assistant brakes individual wheels depending on longitudinal and lateral accelerations. The settings of the 10-speed automatic transmission were also changed.

Externally, the updated Lexus LC can be distinguished by two new body colors: Cadmium Orange and Nori Green Pearl.
