The production car turned out to be similar to the concept of the same name shown last year at the Geneva Motor Show. The length of the crossover, built on the modular MQB platform, is 4450 mm, width — 1511 mm, and height — 2680 millimeters. The wheelbase size is 2680 millimeters.

The crossover will be available with both a standard engine and a hybrid powertrain. The latter is based on a 1.4-liter turbo engine with 150 hp, which works together with a 115-horsepower electric motor. The engine is powered by 13 kWh batteries, which allow driving up to 50 kilometers without recharging.
As for the version with a classic internal combustion engine, we are talking about a two-liter turbo-four developing 310 hp and 400 Nm of torque, which works together with a robotic gearbox and all-wheel drive. The same engine is also equipped with the new generation Leon Sportwagen station wagon.

Cupra Formentor will be available with a 12-inch touchscreen multimedia display, a smart LED interior lighting system, a fully digital instrument panel, as well as a number of electronic assistants, including adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring system.
