The Fiat Panda and Fiat 500 models share a common platform and have the same powertrain with 70 horsepower. It consists of a naturally aspirated one-liter engine and a starter-generator that assists the engine during acceleration, ensures the operation of the start-stop system, and recovers energy during braking. Both cars are equipped with a six-speed manual transmission.
Sales of the hybrid version of the Fiat 500 in Europe start in February, and in March dealerships will receive the hybrid Panda. Later, a fully electric version, the 500e, will hit the market, with its world premiere scheduled for the spring Geneva Motor Show.
