The Japanese manufacturer is preparing a second concept station wagon, which will precede the launch of the new-generation Levorg. After the standard prototype, the company will present a more sporty version in the STI trim. It is expected that under the hood of such a car will be a two-liter boxer engine with turbocharging, developing 300 horsepower.

The production version of the station wagon is expected to hit the market in 2021 or 2022. When creating the production model, designers will rely on the appearance of the Viziv Tourer concept, shown in 2018 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The next-generation Levorg will be based on the modular Subaru Global Platform (SGP), which is already used in the Impreza and a number of other new models of the brand. The station wagon will get a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine with an output of about 270 horsepower and all-wheel drive. In the future, an STI modification with a more powerful two-liter engine may appear.
