It is already known that the SUV will share the T1XX platform with the Chevrolet Silverado, but will get a multi-link rear suspension with the possibility of installing air springs.
The exterior of the new Escalade is not a secret: photo spies managed to capture the front of the SUV at the factory.

The Cadillac flagship will lose its vertical headlights and signature angular design, but will retain a massive radiator grille with chrome trim. In terms of dimensions, the Escalade and Escalade ESV will be comparable to the new Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban.
The interior of the new SUV is designed in the spirit of the 2016 Escala concept. Judging by eyewitness photos, the Escalade will get a non-locking transmission joystick located on the central tunnel, and will receive a virtual instrument panel and infotainment system combined into a single multimedia complex.
The engine lineup is still unclear: the range may consist of a naturally aspirated V8 6.2, a turbocharged V6 3.0, a Duramax 3.0 diesel that debuted on the Tahoe, as well as fully electric powertrains. It is absolutely certain that the SUV will not get the 4.2-liter 550-horsepower V8 Blackwing.
