The Aston Martin DBX is equipped with a four-liter Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V8, which is used on the new generation DB11 and Vantage supercars. However, on the crossover, the engine output has increased from 510 hp and 675 Nm of torque to 550 hp and 700 newton-meters.

The engine works in conjunction with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with a central active differential and a rear differential with electronic locking. The crossover features an adjustable exhaust system and a cylinder deactivation function under light loads.

The Aston Martin DBX can accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, and its top speed is 291 km/h. Thus, the crossover is inferior in dynamics to its direct competitors. For example, the Bentley Bentayga with a 608-horsepower W12 accelerates to 100 km/h 0.4 seconds faster, and its top speed is 301 km/h. The Lamborghini Urus, equipped with a 650-horsepower twin-turbo V8, reaches 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, and its top speed is 305 km/h.

The standard equipment of the Aston Martin DBX includes adaptive three-level air suspension, an active roll suppression system, and adjustable dampers. The systems are powered by a 48-volt onboard network. Depending on the surface and driving style, the electronics can increase the ground clearance by 45 mm or decrease it by 50 millimeters.

The car's seats are upholstered in natural leather, and the headliner and panoramic roof sunshade are finished in Alcantara. Optionally, a center console made from a single piece of walnut wood can be ordered. The driver has a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a surround-view camera system, and Apple CarPlay interface.

The first 500 crossovers will be produced in a special 1913 Package edition, the name of which references the year Aston Martin was founded. Each of these cars will be inspected and approved for sale by the head of the British brand, Andy Palmer. Additionally, buyers will receive a special photo album with personal signatures from Palmer and chief designer Marek Reichman.
Currently, the British have already started accepting orders for their first crossover. For example, in Germany, prices for the Aston Martin DBX start at 193,500 euros.
