Such a car will stand out against the background of a standard station wagon thanks to modified suspension, increased ground clearance, different bumpers and additional body protection underneath.
The premiere of the new generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class is expected in 2021. The model is based on the modular MRA platform with double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension, as well as adaptive dampers that will be installed already in the base configuration.
The engine range will consist of four-cylinder petrol and diesel units operating in conjunction with a starter-generator using a 48-volt electrical network. Versions with plug-in hybrid systems are also provided.
For the new C-Class, the latest version of the Drive Pilot adaptive cruise control will be offered, which will first appear in 2020 on the flagship seventh-generation S-Class. The system will be able to independently maintain the required speed, taking into account information about traffic ahead, road signs, navigation data and other parameters.
