The powertrain of the petrol-electric Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid consists of a four-liter V8 with 550 horsepower and a 100-kilowatt electric motor (136 hp) integrated into the eight-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. Total output is 680 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. Both models accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and consume 3.7-3.9 liters per 100 kilometers in combined mode. The maximum speed of the hybrid crossovers is 295 kilometers per hour.

On electric power, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid travels up to 40 kilometers and accelerates to 135 kilometers per hour. The traction battery with a capacity of 14.1 kilowatt-hours is located under the floor of the trunk: it can be charged from a 400-volt terminal in 2.5 hours, and from a household outlet in six hours. The process can be controlled, as well as a schedule can be set to charge the crossover, for example, in the evening or at night, via the infotainment system display.
