The Lada Granta Cross received a retuned suspension with the largest ground clearance in the family — 198 millimeters. In addition, unlike the standard station wagon, the new model features a protective plastic body kit on the lower part of the body, designed to avoid paint damage when driving on light off-road conditions.

Moreover, during the development of the Lada Granta Cross, the approach and departure angles, as well as the ramp angle, were increased. Finally, the station wagon received special 15-inch alloy wheels of a new design.

Trim levels, engine lineup, and prices for the Lada Granta Cross will be announced closer to the start of sales. According to preliminary data, the base unit will be a 1.6-liter 8-valve engine with 87 hp, paired with a five-speed manual transmission.

In addition, the engine range will include a 16-valve unit of the same displacement, producing 106 horsepower. Transmissions — a five-speed manual or a robot of a similar range.

The first batch of cars, sales of which will start in summer 2019, has already been shipped to dealerships.
