The cost of the unique model was 11 million euros, while including taxes the hypercar could cost the buyer 16.5 million euros. Such a price tag makes the Bugatti La Voiture Noire the most expensive new car in the world.

The special hypercar was released as part of the celebration of the 110th anniversary of the French brand, founded by Ettore Bugatti in 1909. At the same time, the car itself was dedicated to the iconic 1936 Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic model.

The model is based on the Chiron hypercar, but differs from its "donor" with a more pronounced radiator grille, headlights of a different shape moved to the front fenders, as well as a completely different rear part of the body with six exhaust pipes.
The Bugatti La Voiture Noire is equipped with the same eight-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers, the output of which is not yet announced. It is assumed that the unit produces similar 1500 hp and 1600 N·m of torque.
