The coupe-shaped crossover is built on the MEB platform from Volkswagen. The length of the new product is 4.59 m, and the width is 1.90. The wheelbase is 2.77 meters. Thus, the production version of the "green" SUV will take a place between the current Q2 and Q3 models in terms of its dimensions. Audi said that the Q4 e-tron offers "an unprecedented level of comfort in the cabin, especially in terms of legroom both front and rear."

The car is powered by two electric motors — one on each axle. The total power of the units is 302 hp. Without recharging, the crossover can travel more than 450 km (according to the WLTP cycle). Acceleration to "hundreds" for the Q4 e-tron takes 6.3 seconds. The maximum speed is 180 km/h. You can replenish the battery charge to 80% in just 30 minutes. The battery with a capacity of 82 kWh is located under the floor.
The coupe-shaped crossover received a large radiator grille, extended wheel arches, LED optics, massive air intakes, as well as the e-tron inscription on the bumper and sills. Inside, a digital instrument panel in the style of the new Q3 and a large touchscreen display were installed.

The standard version of the Q4 will go on the assembly line earlier than the electric car. According to unofficial data, the crossover will borrow the engine range from the Q3. In this case, the base engine for the car will be a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with an output of 150 hp. Customers will also be offered a 2.0-liter gasoline unit. The engine will be available in two versions: with an output of 190 and 230 hp. In addition to them, the engine range will include a 2.0-liter diesel engine.
