The restyled Jaguar XE received new bumpers, a modified radiator grille in the style of the I-Pace, and LED optics already in the base version. Inside, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless smartphone charging device, and a new Touch Pro Duo multimedia system with two touchscreens appeared.

Also, the ClearSight technology became available for the XE, which displays the image from the rear camera on a screen built into the frameless interior mirror. In addition, the same SportShift gear selector and Drive Control system switch as in the Jaguar F-Type appeared, as well as a steering wheel with touch switches like on the I-Pace.

The engine lineup of the updated sedan has been reduced - the supercharged three-liter V6 engines have disappeared from it. Now only 2.0-liter petrol units with 249 hp and 300 hp are available, as well as a diesel with 180 hp. The engines work in conjunction with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The restyled XE, like its predecessor, is available in rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive versions.

The base Jaguar XE is equipped with 18-inch wheels, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, and the Lane Keep Assist system. In addition, the sedan is available with a special "winter" package, which includes heating of the windshield, seats, steering wheel, as well as a remote-controlled engine and interior pre-heating function.
