The restyled Multivan 6.1 can be distinguished by a different chrome radiator grille and upgraded LED daytime running light units.
The list of standard equipment includes central locking, power windows, exterior mirrors with electric drive and heating, as well as LED interior lighting. Engineers abandoned the hydraulic power steering in favor of an electromechanical one, which made it possible to offer active lane keeping assist and vehicle stabilization systems in strong crosswinds.
In addition, the Multivan is offered with the MIB3 infotainment system with 8.0 and 9.2-inch touchscreens, Apple CarPlay interface and voice control, as well as a fully digital instrument cluster with a 10.25-inch diagonal.
The engine range includes two-liter diesel engines with power from 90 to 199 hp. Top versions are available with a robotic gearbox with two clutches and the 4Motion all-wheel drive system.
The main update, however, is the version with a fully electric powertrain, developed jointly with engineers from ABT. The motor, which transmits traction to the front wheels, produces 112 hp. A battery pack with a capacity of 77.6 kWh allows driving up to 400 km without recharging (according to the NEDC standard).
