Journalist Alex Roy shared information on his Twitter account obtained from an official letter from the German automaker. The document also states that the price of the most expensive modifications of the electric car will reach $130,000.
It is reported that buyers will be offered three trim levels: Taycan, Taycan 4s, and Taycan Turbo. The car is expected to feature a pair of electric motors mounted on the front and rear axles. The total power of these units will exceed 600 horsepower, allowing the Taycan to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
The start of serial production of the Porsche Taycan is scheduled for 2019, with production facilities located in Zuffenhausen, Germany.
