The car's interior design will be executed in the style of the Vision RS presented at the Paris Motor Show. The car will get a large 10.3-inch touchscreen display for the instruments and a new-generation MIB infotainment system with support for MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay, and a 9.2-inch screen.

Another innovation is the Skoda Connect suite with Google Earth maps, a remote car control service via smartphone, and a set of apps for phone connectivity. The software will be updated "over the air" via a cloud service. Upholstery options include various variants, including a new microfiber covering. The trunk volume will be 467 liters. With the rear seats folded, this figure will increase to 1,410 liters.
The car will be built on the A0 MQB platform. This chassis already underpins a number of compact and mid-size cars from the new Volkswagen Polo to the Skoda Kodiaq crossover. The car's length will be 4,362 mm, and its width 1,793 mm. The wheelbase size is 2,649 mm.
The engine lineup will include one diesel and three gasoline engines. The power of the units will range from 90 to 150 hp. Gasoline units with a displacement of 1.0 and 1.5 liters will work in conjunction with a five-speed gearbox and a six-speed manual. Optionally, customers will be offered a 7-speed robotic gearbox with dual clutch. For the 1.6-liter diesel engine, a six-speed manual or a "robot" is provided.
Skoda promises to present the five-door Scala hatchback on December 6 in Tel Aviv. In the model range of the Czech brand, the car will replace the Rapid. Prices for the car will be announced later.
