According to their data, the car's premiere will take place in March next year at the Geneva Motor Show. At the motor show, the public will be shown a prototype of the future car. The production version of the car will debut next summer. The main rival of the new product will be the Ford Focus.

The new product will be built on the MQB platform from Volkswagen. It is expected that thanks to this, the car will become noticeably larger than its predecessor. It is expected that Seat will refuse to use diesel engines on the next generation Leon. At the same time, customers will be offered a hybrid modification of the car. The power plant will include a 1.5-liter TSI engine and an electric motor. Later, the new product will also receive a sports modification Cupra.

As the company said, the new Leon will receive an advanced infotainment system, which will debut for the first time on models of the Spanish brand. Its development was carried out over two years.
