Production of the new model is carried out at the plant in Leipzig. On the domestic market, the car is already available for order at a price from 58,763 euros. The competitors of the new model are called Jaguar F-Pace and BMW X4.
The restyled Macan received a new 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. For the European market, the power of this engine was reduced to 245 hp, and in China, the output of this engine is 252 horsepower.
The unit works in conjunction with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The European version of the crossover accelerates to "hundred" in 6.7 seconds. The maximum speed is 225 km per hour.
After the restyling, the crossover received narrower turn indicators, as well as modified headlights and wheels of a new design. In the cabin, a digital instrument panel appeared, as well as an 11-inch touchscreen display of the multimedia complex, which is installed on the new Panamera and Cayenne.
Also, the crossover is equipped with a sports steering wheel GT from 911. In addition, customers are offered a new body color called Miami Blue, as well as 20- and 21-inch wheels to choose from.
Later, Porsche will present more powerful modifications of the crossover, but the exact dates of the premieres are not yet known. Thus, the appearance of a Macan modification with a six-cylinder engine with an output of 354 horsepower is expected. This version of the restyled crossover will be called Macan S. Also, a sports modification of the car with a 2.9-liter gasoline turbo engine V6 will be available for purchase. The power of the unit will be 440 horsepower. Diesel units are not provided for the new model.
