The presentation, previously scheduled for August, had to be postponed by the German manufacturer due to the arrest of CEO Rupert Stadler. Simultaneously with the premiere, the company will begin taking preliminary orders.
The Audi e-tron will be one of three electric models that the manufacturer intends to unveil before 2020. The crossover will appear at dealerships in the United States in the first half of next year. Along with the e-tron, Audi will present home charging stations and a corresponding "ecosystem."

A feature of the Audi e-tron will be "virtual" side mirrors. They will be offered as an option in markets where such a solution receives approval from authorities. Images from cameras will be transmitted to OLED displays located between the doors and the front panel. The information display modes can be switched using the MMI interface.
The Audi e-tron will be powered by two electric motors with a total output of 360 horsepower. In sport mode of the control electronics, the system's output can temporarily increase to 408 horsepower. Thanks to a battery with a capacity of 95 kilowatt-hours, the e-tron can travel up to 400 kilometers on a single charge (according to the new WLTP measurement cycle).
