The public debut of the car is scheduled for July 25 this year. Experts see BMW X1 and Volvo XC40 as the main rivals of the model.
As can be seen from the video, the car will feature modern daytime running lights and updated rear lighting. The body design as a whole will be in the spirit of the new A8, including a new radiator grille and expressive wheel arch extensions.
The crossover will be based on the modular MQB platform. The base version will likely be equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 128 horsepower. For top trims, a turbocharged 2.5-liter gasoline engine with a power output of 395 horsepower will be provided. The powertrains will be paired with either a six-speed manual or a dual-clutch preselective gearbox.
